The Chamber provides the foundation and facilitates the process of putting members in touch with hundreds of potential clients and customers. Now that you’ve joined the Chamber, get started with your benefits!

Promote your business    

Member Information Center

The Member Information Center (MIC) provides you with 24/7 access to update your business information and to promote your business to potential customers. Login to the MIC to seamlessly make changes to your online listings, submit events to the online calendar, pay your membership investment and so much more. Each member is assigned login credentials as you join. To request credentials for additional representatives, please email us.

Your member login also allows you to access the following:

  • Update business and personal profile information
  • Add categories to your business directory listing
  • Advertise with Hot Deals and Member to Member Offers
  • Post current job openings
  • Pay invoices online with a credit card
  • View recent new members and updates to other businesses
  • Monitor Internet hits on your marketing offers and business directory listing

Online Directory

Your business information is available to consumers through the Chamber’s website—visitors can search by category, keyword, or alphabetically. Display your business description, hours of operation, location information, and more.
You can update your business information at any time in the Member Information Center.

Event Posting

Add your business’ events to the Chamber’s Online Events Calendar—Chamber website visitors can add your event to Outlook, email the details to a friend, and request an automatically generated email reminder for your event.

Add an event:

  1. Login to the Member Information Center on the Chamber website
  2. Click “Events” in the top menu
  3. Click “Add Event”
  4. Fill in all event information. Make sure to select “Chamber Member Event”!
  5. Upload photos or add a YouTube video URL
  6. “Submit for approval”. Please allow for 2-3 business days for the event to show on the website calendar.

Newsletter Promotions

The Chamber’s Weekly Message keeps you up to date on what is happening around Menlo Park. Each week the electronic newsletter features important business news, Chamber member happenings, as well as community related events in the area.

To have your news featured, please email us the following information:

  • Title
  • 2-4 sentences
  • 1 photo or logo
  • Time, date and location (if applicable)
  • Link to additional information

Information must be submitted by the Friday prior to the specified week’s message.

The Chamber uses Constant Contact for emailing newsletters and event invitations. Some internet providers and company servers block information coming from mass emailing companies such as Constant Contact. If you do not begin receiving newsletters on Tuesdays, please check your spam folder and designate our emails as safe. If you don’t see our emails in your Spam/Junk folder, please contact your IT Dept and ask if they will allow our domain to be accepted for delivery: menloparkchamber.com. If you continue to experience problems, contact the Chamber office with the results and we will work out a solution.

Membership Decal

Upon joining the Chamber and at each subsequent renewal, you will receive a window decal declaring your Chamber membership. Display it proudly! If you need a new or additional membership decal, email us to request one.

Personal Chamber Membership ID

People are more inclined to go to businesses who are a member of business organizations, such as chambers, because it shows they are responsible and trustworthy. Proudly display your personal Chamber membership ID on your website. You should have received the HTML code for your personal membership ID in your “Welcome to the Menlo Park Chamber” email when you joined. If you did not receive this email, please email us and we’ll send you your personal membership ID.

Directory Advertising

Every other year the Chamber publishes a directory that is distributed to all residents and businesses of Menlo Park, Atherton, and Portola Valley (Approximate distribution of 18,000 locations). All members receive a free listing in the business directory. Additional advertising space can be purchased for maximum exposure.

Ad sales will be announced in our Weekly Message emails. If you do not currently receive the Weekly Messages, please email us and we will add you to the list.

Map Advertising

Every other year, the Chamber publishes a map that is distributed throughout the community to tourists, hotels, realtors, and in relocation packets. This is the only Menlo Park specific map in publication and your membership gives you a free listing and priority to advertising space.

The Chamber Office

Many people contact the Chamber in person or over the phone for general information and referrals. Drop off business cards or brochures for them to pick up. We will also display posters and notices in our windows which commuters will read on a daily basis.

Get Involved    

While participation is not a requirement, there are many ways to get involved with the Menlo Park Chamber and make a difference. Here are a few ways your time can have a positive impact:

Committees: Join a committee to build relationships while serving the greater community.

Volunteer: Every year the Chamber needs volunteers to distribute beverages, staff information booths, and help with sales at Menlo Summerfest. If your company/group is interested in adopting and fully staffing a booth for an entire day, you will be welcome to promote your company/group through banners, tshirts, etc.

Host a Networking Mixer: On the third Wednesday of the month the Chamber presents a networking event. Networking mixers are each hosted by a Chamber member and are an excellent way to showcase your business to our business community. Please email the Chamber to express interest in hosting a mixer.

  • Go to the Member Login page
  • Enter your Username & Password
  • Select the Resources button
  • Under Category, go to Legislative Reports
  • Select the report you’d like to view
