Chamber Events

This is the place to keep track of what’s going on locally. Find events that offer a good match for your time and talent or customer base. And then network, invite customers, sponsor an event, or volunteer to help out.

The Chamber brings unique artists to the sidewalks of Santa Cruz Avenue. The Sidewalk Fine Arts Festival is free to the public and features an exciting array of original works by 90 artists whose work includes jewelry, photography, ceramics, painting, sculptures and much more. All of the artists are on hand to visit with patrons while some demonstrate their craft during the show. This event occurs in April and is hosted by Pacific Fine Arts Festivals.
Artists, please contact Pacific Fine Arts Festivals for more information about participating in this event.

Initiated in 2007, the Chamber’s Block Party team coordinates a downtown community celebration. The event highlights local businesses and non-profits as they showcase their products and services against an inviting backdrop of plaza dining, musical entertainment, and children’s activities. If you would like to be involved in this event, please send us an email.

Gourmets and gourmands gather for this upscale mid-summer festival of the arts with live jazz, R&B, soul and swing music, fine art, and handmade crafts by 200 of the West Coast’s top artists, chef demonstrations, savory cuisine, premium wines and microbrews, specialty foods, and a captivating kids’ zone. Join us annually on the 3rd weekend of July for Menlo Summerfest.

The annual Halloween Merchant Trick-or-Treat is held the Saturday before Halloween. Kids and their families gather in costume on Santa Cruz Avenue and trick or treat through Downtown Menlo Park at participating stores. Merchant Trick-or-Treat is put on in conjunction with the City of Menlo Park’s Halloween Hoopla event.

The Chamber works with the City of Menlo Park to light up downtown. In 2014 we will celebrate the 2nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Fremont Park in which Santa Claus makes a special appearance, a holiday video is played and the magical Fremont Tree is lit up for the holidays! Join the merriment and festive cheer the first Friday in December.
